SFD secured the contract to design, manufacture and supply the light weight steel walls and roof truss panel system to carry out the construction of 2500 square meters of accommodation for the doctors and nurses at the St’ Apollinaris hospital in Creighton KZN.
A specialized contractor being Showspec who has over 20 years experience in the dry walling industry was awarded the contract. After evaluating the different light weight steel systems on the market, Showspec made a decision to make SFD its preferred supplier.
Meticulous planning and time management programs were put in place to ensure the project was a success. All time expectations were exceeded and the project was completed well before the required completion date.
This was the biggest light weight steel project ever to be awarded in the KZN province to date, we are proud to have been associated with all involved in this project.
