Approvals and Certification

The SANS 517 light gauge steel building concept was accepted by SABS as an approved building method in November 2009 which has brought much needed acceptance and streamlining of building plans submitted for approval.

The high quality galvanised steel frame manufactured from a G550 high tensile steel and coated with a Z275 zinc coating comes with a warranty from Mittal that the product has a functional life prior to perforation by atmospheric corrosion of a minimum of 50 years from date of supply.
