A major renovation was carried out to this beautiful home in Durban North. The owner was given an option of either using timber trusses or light weight galvanized roof trusses and batons to replace his roof. After considering the options and seeing the benefits of using the light weight steel galvanized roofing system the decision was made to go with the steel and the client was very impressed and happy with the end result.
With the trusses being light weight and strong it was easier to lift and manoeuvre the trusses into position especially being a double story home.
Besides having a great looking finish there would be no more worrying about timber eating beetles, wood rot or sagging roofs.
